Coventry University, situated in the English countryside, has recently been awarded Strategic Development Funding to set up a Health Design and Technology Institute whose remit includes education and applied research in non-clinical healthcare products and patient communication. One of the purposes of the Institute is to develop an MA in Health Communication Design. The Communications Research Institute (CRI) is an independent, not-for-profit membership body with a charter to improve communication between organizations and the public.
